Memorial
Ware Funeral Home
Joshua Lee Lowry (Died May 2, 2009)
Joshua Lee “Josh” Lowry was granted his angel wings on May 2, 2009 following a lifelong illness. Joshua’s life would seem too short to many, but some flames burn so bright that destiny determines that their job is done in just a few short years. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him and though he never spoke a word, his voice and thoughts could always be heard. Although Joshua’s illness made him appear frail, he possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. With his courage he led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. With Joshua’s passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him every day, especially his winning smiles, he will forever remain in our hearts. Josh leaves behind many wonderful caregivers that provided love and support that enhanced his quality of life. Joshua’s love extends to his wonderful nurses, Wendy and Micah. Josh is survived by his loving parents, Constance Lowry and Ernie Tisdale. Also surviving are his loving stepfather, Jeff Howard; a sister, Alexandra “Ali”; paternal grandparents, Joe and June Tisdale; maternal grandparents, Phyllis Gibson and Dennis Tisdale; and many aunts, uncles and cousins, all of Chillicothe. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Mitchell Salyers officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Ware’s one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

PRAYERS
Year 2

In Febuary 2009 his T-Cells were down and we found out that he would need another Bone Marrow transplant, while scheleduling for this he developed a fever that could not be controled so he went back into the hospital.
As of right now we know that he has Mono that is affecting his lungs, spine, and liver with no known cure. His liver is bleeding, his stomach is filling with water, and his organs are swelling.
He is now 2 years old and weighs 21 pounds although his stomach is 56 inches around from his swelling organs.
He is a fighter and is very strong but could use our prayers.

His first year

Josh is my nephew and was born on November 20, 2006.
His life began as many have a happy healthy young man , in February 2007 at 2 months of age he developed a rash and my sister his mother Connie took him to Children's Hospital were they found that his Immune system was failing and he needed to have a Bone Marrow transplant, Children's performed this transplant in March 2007 and he was released in June 2007.
All was going well he celebrated his first birthday at home with my son Troy and we had no reason to believe that he wouldn't live a happy, healthy life.
